Queensland Campers Web Site Review

The caravan industry as a whole is at present quite poorly represented on the internet. It is refreshing to see a distributor attempting to service potential clients who choose to do their research on the internet. Maarten and Sue Van Baardwyck have a comprehensive menu to surf including - Specials - Poptops - Slide Ons - Camper Vans - Pre-Loved Vans - Show & Tell etc.

The obvious Dutch influence is shown in the colour scheme of the site - quite unusual and vibrant compared to the more conservative colours used in many other sites. The layouts of all A'van models are shown schematically, including the numerous A'liners variations and the Pop-Tops Rhys and Erin. Rather oddly information on the all important ball weight doesn't seem to be mentioned. The guest book has an interesting selection of comments.

All things considered, Maarten Jnr has made great inroads into the Qld Campers site. It has the basis to give informed information to future purchasers, particularly with all the model layouts being shown so clearly - this can help you work out how much space you need for the style of travelling you intend undertaking. If your idea is short weekend trips, you need less personal space than a couple going around Australia. The lounge/bed set-up is extremely important in relation to living/kitchen areas and these layouts will assist in making this decision.

Well done Sue and Maarten, Maarten Jnr  and Trudy. Check out the site yourself on www.qldcampers.com.au/
