Adrian Ryan has done an absolutely fantastic job on his excellent Australian Caravan Touring site. This is definitely a "must bookmark" site. If you scroll down the home page you will get some idea of the huge range of topics covered. There is a lot of subtle humour on Adrian's site. This one is a real gem - Rental — wherein the faint-hearted are fortified before making a commitment. The links on this site are excellent. Most sites just provide you with an endless page of links. Adrian realises that many newbies wont have a clue just starting out, so there are separate links at the bottom of most sections pertaining just to that particular subject. Overseas visitors are well and truly catered for with lots of information on Aboriginal Culture, extensive weather information, outback travel, renting, fuel costs - the list just goes on and on. There are no photos on the site at all and Adrian explains why this is so in his site philosophy. This means that the pages literally fly in with no waiting. We suggest you browse through the Campfire Section as there is a wealth of information hidden away in there. The site compliments Around Oz as we are focused mainly on DIY, craft and places presented in a magazine style, whereas Adrian is covering all the nitty gritty things in really excellent detail in what amounts to a huge collective data base of knowledge. Absolutely recommended.
