USA Vehicle Towing Capacity Database

We desperately need a similar system in Australia to that used in the States with regard to a publicly available data base of all vehicle towing capacities. In case anyone is interested, there is a very good data base available online which lists virtually every common tow vehicle in the U.S. and Canada, and lists their towing capabilities. Can anyone with a bit of time on their hands please lobby the RTA etc. so that this can happen here in Australia?
