This is a rather unique concept and it certainly seems to work. It is not a government agency and not even a true court as we know it. What happens is you submit your "claim" and it goes up on the list partially reproduced below - there are a lot of entries. Visitors to the site then "vote" on the suggested solution. The site of the RV Court of Public Opinion is at www.rv.org/court.htm. The blue links in the Claimant's section are continuously updated but just go to the site and you can view current cases. A great spot for intending purchasers to check consumer confidence and satisfaction of a manufacturer before committing to an actual product. There is nothing even remotely like this in Australia.

As of August 1, 2000 details of cases that have been settled to the satisfaction of the claimant, as indicated by written notice, will be unlinked from this Court. Members can still view these cases from inside the Member Library. RV Consumer Group reserves the right to make the information available to its members about any cases published in this forum.
