Hastings Point Northern NSW Update

We last visited the Hastings Point Holiday Village in February 2001 and you may remember we were not overly impressed, but gave them the thumbs up because they welcomed pets and the surrounding area was absolutely beautiful. We revisited in October 2001 and from the street things looked a wee bit better, as all the old eye sore vans right up the front have gone and all signage has been repainted. Sadly that was it, as reception remains super unfriendly bordering on rude and you now get handed a two page sheet of "rules". The biggest update is no dogs at Easter or Christmas. Costs have risen from $18.50 to $21.00 per powered site, a rather hefty increase in just 6 months.
