Reading this book vividly illustrates how expensive it is to
camp in NSW. There are no where near as many free camps as found in
Victoria and Tasmania etc. It is published by
Boiling
Billy Publications and they have an excellent web page - we
bought our copy online.
They tend to list all those gorgeous places where you are likely to be the only ones there - 530 in all! The mud maps are very good, but more photos would make the book even better. Where there is a fee charged this is mentioned - sadly in NSW this is just about everywhere. Layout is very good and very easy to read whilst on the move. A nice touch is a neat bookmark with the facilities legend on it - very handy. A nice thick cover means it will last quite a few years and it is bound not stapled. We absolutely recommend this book. RRP $14.25 but $13.00 online + $3.50 postage. |
