Used Deep Cycle Battery Supplier

Lots on batteries this month as a small number of A'vanners have discovered that no maintenance batteries have been fitted to their vans and they have forgotten to top up the water. New deep cycle batteries can cost an arm and a leg. Companies such as Telstra replace the deep cycle batteries used in their exchanges every couple of years. Now these units still have at least two years life left in them and have generally been well maintained. You can buy these at St Georges Machinery, 130/132 McIntyre Road, Sunshine North. Phone  (03) 93115535 for more information. To give you an idea on price 100amp/hour costs around $50.00. This is a bargain when compared to new at $200+. Don't forget if you are on a tight budget and just use your A'van battery for lighting you can get away with a normal car battery as long as you don't continually run it flat and of course top it up regularly. Remember that ALL batteries can only be flattened a certain number of times. Even the best only last for 300 or so cycles. A'van advise to always leave your A'van plugged into the 240 volt.
