A Closer Look at the USA A'lite |
![]() |
| We just can't work out why there aren't more of these little guys around. In Queensland we have only had one turn up at a club rally yet they are fantastic for those with tiny cars and of course ideal for solo travelers. Even in America you see lots of messages moaning about the space. In our view it is absolutely the best product an active solo traveler with a modest vehicle can buy. The photo right at the bottom of this story, is of an Australian A'lite and was taken at the the Queensland A'vanners Christmas 2001 Rally at Crowsnest. This unit is really well set up including solar power and used on lots of dirt roads. It is towed by a little Sportage. It does create a lot of interest at our rallies! So here are a few photos of a USA model about five years old and in quite good condition. The chap in the photos is not the owner - he was used to illustrate that it can easily accommodate a guy over 6 feet tall. Note the extremely low ball weight. |
