QUEENSLAND A'VAN CLUB MAY 2001 RALLY

Queensland A-Van Club is having a get together at Borumba Deer Park, Imbil near Gympie on 26th and 27th May 2001, just enough time to rush back from Pambula.  The caravan park is situated on Yabba Creek adjacent to Imbil Forestry, 2 kms from Borumba Dam in the Mary Valley/Sunshine Coast hinterland.  It is a working deer farm, so those desiring may sample venison, steak, sausages etc.  it is a great place to relax and chat or participate in canoeing, swimming, fishing, bushwalking or forest drives.  Mary Valley Heritage Rail runs the steam "Rattler" from Gympie to Imbil on Wednesdays and Sundays, return or one way.  Phone 07 5483 7238 for rail bookings or information of interested.  If enough people (25) phone and book on the Sunday rail trip and say they are with the A'van Club, concession rates will apply.  Committee members will be absent from home at various times leading up to the weekend, so simply make your booking direct to the Park on 07 5484 5196.
