We have seen these advertised for ages in Caravan World and in On the Road magazines. We actually had a go at using one at a recent caravan show and we were impressed. The thing really does work and would be great for those travelling in very dusty areas and those amongst us who camp at the beach a lot. UPDATE 10/5/02

We went to a demo of this product and confirm that it will pick up sand and other "difficult" stuff such as dog hair. There is now a cheaper model on the market without the removable battery - spare batteries cost $71.00 and possibly not needed for the small amount of use in an A'van. It comes in a small carry bag. We think it best to give it a go before ordering - usually at most caravan shows.
