Securing the Top Vents

Because they face into the wind there is a chance of the hatches opening as you travel along usually with quite disastrous consequences. One chap lost all three because of a very high speed truck. This simple idea uses a type of bungee strap (Clark Rubber) which is attached to a small clip on either side of the roof. Securing it only takes 30 seconds. When not in use just hang it on one of the side clips. A'liners sold in the USA now have a small rubber retainer fitted internally - a good move as it positively stops the handle turning.
