This is one of those gadgets you hope that you will never need! First up it ONLY works if your camper has electric brakes and its own battery onboard. It is essentially a normally open switch operated by an inserted pin. One end of the pin is attached to a wire cable and the other end is attached to the tow vehicle. In the event of the trailer detaching itself from the tow vehicle the theory is the pin pulls out and applies the electric brakes at flat chat!
