This gadget gets bundled with the trailer lock and it truly is a divorce eliminator ($58). All you do is put an extra plate under the towball. You then drop the easy couple guide in the slot. Now it only works if you have the ball at roughly the same height. Back your car and theoretically the plate forces the coupling to line up with the ball. It definitely does work.

Another important use, is that it prevents damage if the coupling bangs into your plastic bumper bar. When coupled just lift it off - no tools needed, but yet another bit to float around and rattle in the boot! When parked it can be used as a lock by inserting it sideways and vertically. When you see it demonstrated at the show it works incredibly well! Bit harder in the real world!
