This is another approach to getting multiple use out of the excellent sink cover provided in your A'van camper. It's me again "young  Hawkey". (58) Saw some info on the site about that loose shelf and what to do with it, so I thought  I'd share our idea. I used a couple of pieces of shelving strip from the local hardware shop and two 10" brackets. The strip is bolted through the side of the cabinet using a large O.D. flat washer. One advantage of this set up, is as far as we're concerned, is that it allows for the shelf to be adjusted to three different heights. This accommodates the washing up/draining bowl to be level with the top of the bench top if required. For travelling or just sitting next to the cabinet the brackets just slip out and are stored away.
