Another version of the sink cover used as a kitchen shelf extension. This is a very easy modification and does not require modification of the sink cover. As you can see it can also be used as an arm rest when sleeping in on Sunday mornings! All you do is screw a piece of 1 1/2 X 3/4 on the sink side and the wall side. Use a bit of glue as well. Keep the fit between the top of the shelf and the underside of the sink top nice and snug. It can be used along both the long and short sides. When not in use as a shelf it can be used as a sink top cover.
