This is without doubt the most popular modification going at present as it releases one draw for other uses and because it is so convenient to have cutlery right at the table within easy reach at all times. This design without doubt is the strongest version we have come across and really isn't that hard to make. The big difference is that the guide/carcass is made from a piece of scrap aluminium. The draw itself is just any cutlery draw you can lay your hands on. This one came from Coles of all places! We liked the extra tray along the top - absolutely ideal for a caravan where space is at an absolute premium. We have included lots of pictures here as there isn't a lot of room and the secret is to put a cutaway in the right side to clear the table support. This set up will last the life of the van and will withstand accidental bumps from knees etc. The layout is such that it can still be used as an extra bed for grand children etc. You can pick the catches up from your local dealer. Overall a beautiful piece of work that ended up looking like a factory fitted option!
