This very simple idea is an extension of the common steering wheel locks and works with an identical mechanism. When not in use you simply attach it to your spare tyre and hey presto instant storage. A keen DIY caravanner with a welder and vice could actually fabricate one of these using a $40 steering wheel lock and some 25mm RHS tubing.
