The van power cord in the Sportliner is stowed in the locker occupied by the battery, the battery charger and the water tank.  It is not unusual when pulling out the power cord for it to become entangled in one or more of these.  By placing a sheet of lino over the battery, water tank and charger (with suitable holes for the cables and battery vent pipe as shown in the photograph), the power cord lies neatly on top of the sheet and can be freely pulled out to its full extent.
