Globe Replacement Outside Light You don't realise how much you rely on that little outside light until the night it stops working and you are in a bush campsite, its pitch black and you can't find your van after going to the loo miles away! It would be great if someone could make a list of all the globes for posting here! Replacing the globe is not the bleeding obvious either! To remove the lens GENTLY squeeze both top and bottom of the amber bit whilst pulling the bottom towards you. |
| Using a screwdriver or knife could break it. We have been meaning to get a set of spare globes together and leave them in the van for months! A good spot would be down beside the battery as that's a spot you never use as its a bit hard to get at! The first time ours stopped, it wasn't the globe at all. We cleaned both the contacts with a scrap piece of sandpaper. Replacing the lens - place the top tabs in first and gently squeeze the bottom up. Bob & Chrissy Eustace |
