This is a very sensible location for an extra power point up at the front of the van. Ideal for those needing 240 volt on the table for craft work or business etc. The supply was taken from the fridge power point. Don't forget you MUST use an electrician for this type of work and that ALL power points in RV's MUST be double pole and cable multi strand. These can be bought off the shelf from Camec or Caravan Accessories if your sparky has trouble locating them.
