Gas Struts for Sofa Bed Model A'van
This is a real breakthrough and we are bound to see improvements on this model. Basically all you do is use two pieces of aluminium angle to "stiffen" the top. Two gas struts are attached to this and the front of the sofa. You travel with the bed in the normal sofa position. On arrival at site you just slip in the angles. 26th FEBRUARY 2003 Dear Bob, I have looked at your website and noticed a very important mistake, that I would like to point out. Your gas strut shaft should be pointing down, when it is in open position, so the oil can lubricate the shaft and keep the seal oiled, so the gas strut last longer Struts Australia [Vic] |
