Roll Out Awning

This is brilliant! Brian & Estelle Eden are motor body builders and their van would win the A'van Concours! It even has instant hot water! A lot of research went into this project and it works really well. Note the air struts. Sadly we FAILED to get a photo of it up! You might like to send us one Brian? For those thinking weight? Brian has a 5 litre GMC! Ouch!!

For those interested, the corners of the A'van are really well made and reinforced with heavy plywood and Brian has used this to bolt onto. The complete assembly is finished in powder coating. Brian used a commercial roll up awning and adapted it to suit the A-Van. It erects in under a minute and folds down ultra securely. Brian is also an expert on strengthening the A-frame itself and has extended his. This makes the rig longer but much easier to back. It also reduces nose weight. Sorry no piccies yet!
