Folding Step Ladder

Owners of the Sportliner A'van may sometimes like to hook up or remove their awning/annex without lowering their van roof.  Just to the left of the entry step is a space of 570mm. between the chassis rails (which has a very convenient lip) making an ideal space to store a set of small fold-up steps.  Simply made from 2" x 1" hardwood and a couple of 150mm. strap hinges, they measure 275mm. x 565mm. and, after cutting off a few projecting screws, it slides very neatly into the aforementioned space.

The steps can also be used as a small table or a seat. Of course, it will only access the roof peak of the Sportliner, which is much lower than that of the A'liner.
