This is rather magic, a bit like re-inventing the mouse trap. All you do to adjust this new type of tent pole is simply extend it to length then twist. It is super strong and two of us tugging like crazy couldn't get it to move. It works on the offset cam principle and should last a lifetime. It is also made from light aluminium so no rust problems. Ours cost $15.90 and came from Queensland Campers. Aussie Traveller also has them.
