Saving on Towels

One of our "pet hates" is the sight of drying towels hanging around what would otherwise be attractive camper trailers!  Visions of steamy Chinese laundries and the back streets of Naples immediately spring to mind!  But we need these I hear you cry, the Hills Hoist is too far away for such intimate personal items.  Rubbish, think laterally.  Do we really need towels, and what happens when they are left out and it rains?  I suggest the answers are NO and THEY ARE USELESS respectively!  Consider instead using a "face cloth" to dry yourself after showering.  They absorb a lot of water and are easily rung-out when saturated.  Guaranteed to get you at least 95 % dry, and the face cloth itself dries quickly on the van towel rail.  If it is left out in the rain  -  no problem, just wring out and away you go.
