The Three "F's" of RV-ing are Food, Fuel and Fees!!! Due to the minimalistic size of your refrigerator even in the largest A'van you tend to increase your food costs whilst on the road, as it just wont keep, and you experience far more spoilage than you do normally at home. You can even things up a bit by shopping intelligently. Coles and Woolworths always heavily discount bread, cakes, cooked chicken and meat 30 minutes before closing. You will get all the bargains simply by shopping at 8:30PM at night. Avoid Thursday nights and Saturday afternoons as many others are onto this little trick, although on Saturday afternoons you do tend to get fruit and vegies discounted as well. You will find this more so in Queensland where shopping hours aren't as liberalised as in NSW and Victoria.
