Camper Exchanges

Do you really love caravanning? Would you like to caravan overseas? If you answered yes to both questions why not think about swapping with a fellow A'van owner in the USA. The motorhome fraternity as a with it group are simply light years ahead of we "slow to try new ideas" caravanners. For instance they use their online forums to get in touch with motorhomers overseas wishing to exchange vehicles, To see how this works just go to www.vision.net.au/~kerrie/motorhomes/ and click on Overseas Swaps etc. The latest messages are at the top of the list. You don't need to register - just log in as GUEST. If this interests you try posting a message on our own A-Forum and on the USA Folding Camper forum at www.rv.net/forums/index.cfm/fuseaction/listings/CFB/1/forum/25.cfm.

Here is a typical message taken from the motorhome archives to give you a bit of an idea:-

Hi,
My wife and I plus two daughters ages 12 and 14 will be visiting Australia for 6 weeks starting October 5, 1999 and then will be in New Zealand starting on December 6, 1999 for 6 weeks. We would be interested in trading the use of our 26 foot Rockwood motorhome in Alaska for the use of a motorhome in Australia and another one in New Zealand. We also operate a Bed and Breakfast in Kenai Alaska and I fly people into the backcountry of Alaska for fishing and hunting. Any type of trade is possible. Please contact me at bcountry@ptialaska.net
