Most pre-2000 vans have small winding handles on the 14" Jensen Roof Vents. These are made of plastic and very weak so quite prone to breakage. You can order in metal ones but they are very expensive - $12.95. A better alternative is to get the newer plastic tee type used on the current vans. We got ours from Camec in Brisbane for $10 each. We then made a gigantic mistake! We tried to use the same screws to fit them. Wrong!

Too short. We then got some round head screws and the heads were a different shape and therefore stuck out a bit more. This means they touch the top of the rear roof when folded. Eventually this will make a hole! When doing this modification, which incidentally is very worthwhile, try to get the countersunk screws as well from wherever you get the handles. If not try Bunnings. When we find out the EXACT screw description we will post it here.
