We came across this fascinating little aerial on a self designed Mercedes Sprinter conversion. Simply by fitting a small right angle bracket to the apex of your A'van you could easily adapt it. The unit was designed for marine use. We particularly liked the ease of mounting and the total absence of the long elements needed to pick up channel 2. The internal booster is rather good in that you can actually reduce the amplification (boost) in situations where you are too close to the transmitter. Cables except the fly lead are all cable TV type (screw together). We saw the unit working at Atkinson's Dam and it performed well.
