It is quite amazing how many enquiries we get on this simple subject. Looking at the USA Boards shows us that they are in the same boat. Those upgrading from the smaller easier to use lock are even more mystified! The Electrolux RM2330 as fitted to all but the smallest A'liners has a two position lock. The outer groove shuts the door tight for travelling. The second or inner slot leaves the door about 10 mm ajar when in storage. It is very important to leave the door ajar between trips as this stops mould forming. You might like to try this if you do get mould. Just wash it away with warm soapy water and then dry. Put a teaspoon of vanilla essence on a piece of paper towel and wipe all internal surfaces. Be sure to leave the door ajar. If storing for a long period we use an open packet of bi-carbonate of soda. Just leave it in the fridge.
