Heating Shower Water |
![]() |
| The A'van is right at home in the bush with absolutely no facilities. Hot water for a shower is one little luxury that is hard to forgo as one gets older! The first one we bought was pretty useless and only gave warm water after eight hours of full sunshine and there is no way known you could call it hot water. We got it from Big W in Grafton NSW (under $20). It appealed to us as it was larger than similar products and it folded up. The story is DON'T BUY IT! |

| Our
next attempt was 100% successful! The moral of the story is always buy brand
names you know. There wouldn't be a camper living who hasn't heard of Li
Lo would there? Anyway, it has a clear cover with a black absorber and
water gets so hot you can burn yourself! Apart from showers we use it for
washing up water and doing hands etc. whenever outside "normal" parks.
It is pictured sitting next to our camp in Andrew Drynan Park in Queensland near
the NSW border. Ours came from the camping section in Big W in
Grafton (under $20) Bob & Chrissy Eustace |
